            I would like to welcome you to my world. Take a look at my paintings, as they are mirrors of my inner self. They show the reality seen thru my eyes, my emotions expressed with color and my thoughts transferred onto canvas.

            It is very important to find a balance between the expression of emotion and the realism of the subject. Realism is the heart of my paintings. It gives them structure and recognizable forms. It transcribes my vision onto canvas. Expression of emotion is what fuels them and makes them come to life. It is the use of color that stops them from merely imitating nature and gives them the force to take on a life of their own. I find this balance in what I like to call „expressionistic realism“. It is my style of choice, and my mode of expression.

            To me, art is more than expressing myself thru painting. It is more than observing my surroundings and reproducing it on canvas. It is my vision of the world that I'm in and painting it. It is my version of reality and living it. It is my philosophy, my artist statement, expressionistic realism. It is an upgraded reality. It is Reality v2.0
